Simple Justice is a New York criminal defense law blog founded and written by veteran New York attorney Scott Greenfield.
Founded in 2007, Simple Justice has become one of the most popular solo legal blogs in the nation with more than 330,000 visits per month. Greenfield posts two to three original pieces per day and links to others that focus on issues related to the criminal defense legal community.
Simple Justice has a majority female readership, and half its readership earns less than $60,000 per year. Nearly 40 percent do not have a college degree.
Posts include “Without Good Evidence, Bad Evidence Must Do”, “Hate Is Such a Strong Word” and “No Room for Logic in the Law”.
Greenfield’s posts have earned him national notoriety as a legal expert and analyst on network news programs such as “60 Minutes” and “20/20” as well as Fox, the BBC and NBC. He has also been quoted in several national publications, including The New York Times.
